It’s November 7th which means we’re celebrating N7 Day! On this day we come together to celebrate the games, stories, and community that make Mass Effect so special. It’s a testament to the long-lasting appeal of this universe and the characters who call it home.
Last year fans were treated to a short N7 teaser clip. Because Dragon Age: The Veilguard released just a week ago, Bioware decided to be a little more quiet this year. I’m a fan of both universes, so I am a tiny bit disappointed we didn’t get any update on the next Mass Effect game.
Fortunately fans who are currently spending time in northern Thedas can bring some N7 flavour to their Rooks. The latest patch adds a two Mass Effect inspired appearances to the game, including a helmet (not displayed). I’m currently rocking that sweet The Invitation appearance and don’t plan on taking it off for some time, but I do love that Bioware added this gift for the fans.
Just when I thought N7 Day would come and go without any big announcements, Variety dropped the news a Mass Effect TV series is currently in the works over at Amazon MGM Studios. It would truly be amazing to have a wider audience enjoy Mass Effect. I’m not jumping on the hype train just yet, but will definitely keep an eye out for further updates. Let’s hope 2025 will bring us more awesome Mass Effect news!
