Rockstar’s upcoming game Grand Theft Auto VI was originally announced back in December 2023. With just a few months to go before GTA 6 officially drops, we finally got an extended look at the game. I have been keeping an open mind about GTA 6 and wasn’t sure if I even wanted to watch the extended look. I already pre-ordered a game code in the box back in June, because I knew I wanted to play it on day one. I didn’t want to ruin my first experience with the game by seeing important story beats, cool side characters or surprising mechanics, but I am happy I caved and still checked out the extended look.
The extended look actually made me even more excited about GTA 6. I seriously can’t wait to play the game when it drops later this year! I love the dual protagonists Jason and Lucia and am very curious how the story will unfold for these two. I understand that Rockstar doesn’t force players to let Jason and Lucia thrive as a romantic couple, but I’m soooo gonna strengthen their bond and play them as a couple. I can’t wait to see more of them interacting together. Did you catch it in the extended look? You can actually choose to hold hands. That’s just so cool. I’m such a fan already that I’ve changed my wallpaper on my iPhone to a picture of them together, haha!
Grand Theft Auto VI drops on November 19th, 2026. I will be playing the game on PlayStation 5 and will definitely share my thoughts on the game right here at NERDSHOCK HQ 🎮
