Even though I was already happy to learn about the upcoming Guild Wars 3 during Summer Game Fest 2026, I was overjoyed to see the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The original has been my favorite game ever since I played it all those years ago and now the remake trilogy will finally come to a close. I’m so ready to head towards the conclusion of this epic ride!
Fortunately Square Enix didn’t stop with the announcement trailer, we were also treated to a gameplay deep dive. I was already amazed by the upgrade of Rebirth, but it seems the developers managed to push it even further with Revelation.
The game is scheduled for a release in Spring 2017 and will no longer be a PS5 Exclusive. Yup, that’s 7 years since the we kicked off the remake trilogy with Final Fantasy VII Remake. Needless to say I will be picking up the game and play it to bits!
