I loved doing unboxings when I first launched NERDSHOCK HQ back in 2013. At a certain point I became more critical about picking up games on release day and spending money on collector’s editions. I shifted from buying physical items to enjoying experiences. You could say I became a bit of a minimalist.

Did I just pull an erase and rewind? Yes, I did! After initially relaunching NERDSHOCK HQ just before Summer, I noticed I was slowly falling back into the same pattern from before I decided to relaunch. I felt like I was again chasing headlines, instead of sharing the stories I truly wanted to share. Before I got in too deep, I had to stop and start over.
