When I first caught a glimpse of the upcoming Dragon Age game, I wasn’t sure how to feel. It’s been ten years since Inquisition and I’m definitely eager to return to Thedas, but I felt hesitant about the art direction and general feel of the official reveal trailer. Fortunately there isn’t much time left to be wishy washy about picking up the game.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches October 31st, 2024
Haha yes, that’s next week! Earlier this month I had to undergo an MRI scan and will discuss the results with my doctor next week as well. I’ve been feeling ok, but the result can still be bad. I thought if I get bad news, I will definitely need something fun to do. If the result is good, I should indulge in some serious celebrating. So.. I’ve pre-ordered the game for my PlayStation 5.
I had hoped to play the game at midnight, but I still need to wait a bit before I can dive into the game. Fortunately fans on console can preload the game. Due to the fact the game does not have any 3rd party DRM, fans on PC need to wait for the official day of release to start downloading the game.
I’m currently prepping for the launch of Dragon Age: The Veilguard by reading Tevinter Nights and listening to the podcast. You should too! 💜
